The current season of the English Premier League is nearly over. Any sports bettor who placed outright bets several months ago will either be excited about the results or are already defeated since they no longer have a chance of winning the league. Liverpool will want to win its match with the Wolverhampton Wanderers AND score as many goals as possible to exceed City’s GD if City does end up having the same points as Liverpool. This should be the goal since no one should just expect Aston Villa to beat Manchester City on Matchday 38, even if there’s a possibility of an upset from Aston Villa.
Manchester City will probably win this EPL season. Tottenham will probably stay as part of the Top Four and be qualified for the UEFA Champions League group stage. Some sportsbooks already offer odds of 1.03 in favour of Tottenham Hotspur, while Arsenal’s odds are 13.00.
Top Six
Like the Top Four, the Top Six allows football clubs to be part of another competition, namely the Europa League. The two teams competing now are Manchester United and West Ham United, with West Ham being in the seventh position. If West Ham fails to get to the Top Six, they’ll still be qualified for the Europa Conference League.
Man United currently has 58 pts and 1 GD, while West Ham has 56 pts and 11 GD. Manchester United will need to win their match against Crystal Palace if they want to retain their position since West Ham has a +10 edge in goal differential against Man United. A draw will result in West Ham claiming their position IF they win their match against Brighton.
West Ham has a hope of getting into the Top Six if they win against Brighton, and Man United either loses or ends up in a draw in their next match.

Relegation and To Finish Bottom
Both Watford and Norwich City are for sure relegated, but Burnley still has a chance not to get relegated if they win against Aston Villa and Newcastle. The football clubs that unfortunately have a chance to get relegated are Everton, Leeds United, and Burnley, with Burnley already in the 18th position.
Everton currently has 36 pts, Leeds has 35, and Burnley has 34. Everton still has matches against Crystal Palace and Arsenal, while Leeds only has one match left against Brentford. While the fight is tight, Burnley can afford to escape relegation if they get tied with Leeds United due to their unassailable GD edge of +20, as long as Leeds loses.
Leeds United has a difficult fight with Brentford, with the current predictions saying that the most likely scoreline is 1-1 with a probability of 12.37% chance of happening. If Leeds United does end its match in a draw, then they’re relatively secure from relegation since there’s a chance that Burnley won’t win their next two matches based on their past matches.
Everton has two matches until the end of the season, namely against Crystal Palace and Arsenal. As long as it wins both matches, it’s safe from getting relegated. Even if Everton ends up with two draws, its own GD of -20 will keep it safe from Leeds if they end up tied to 38 pts. However, if Burnley wins two matches, then Everton will only escape relegation if they win two matches themselves.
Bettors who bet on Watford and Norwich City being relegated early on will benefit from the already low odds they had since the start of the season, but those who bet on either Leeds or Everton might be able to take advantage of the initial relatively high odds for relegation. The odds for these FCs were above 10 in many sportsbooks, so their respective bettors have a chance of winning big.
Regarding who will finish bottom, Norwich City will probably finish bottom, especially since 19th position Watford and 20th position Norwich City have a bad history with the matches they’re participating in Matchday 38.
