CRISTIANO RONALDO has his heart set on Hollywood once he retires from football – but doubts he will land a lead role.
Ronaldo, 33, is coming to the twilight of his career but remains keen to prolong his stint as a professional.
The Real Madrid star is one of the most widely-recognised sportspeople on the planet.
He is closing in on what would be a fifth Champions League winner’s medal if Real beat Liverpool on Saturday.
And the Portugal intentional discussed his plans for retirement in an interview with El Chiringuito de Jugones.
“I’ve had some practice as an actor in advertisements, of which I do many,” the ex-Manchester United star said.
“But I’ll never be an actor with a main role at the age of 42.
“But I love playing some parts and I more or less speak Portuguese, English and Spanish.
“I say more or less because if I say I speak them well then they’ll call me big-headed!”
Cristiano Ronaldo is a regular face on Nike adverts, while he fronts his own CR7 fashion brand.
There are reports he could look to leave Real in the near future.
Even though he is under contract at Real until 2021, he is keep to earn pay parity with Barcelona’s Lionel Messi, who earns €2m a week at the Nou Camp.
