Small Bet: You only win if your 4D number appears in the top three prize categories.
Ordinary Entry: You only win if your 4D number matches any of the winning numbers in the same order.
4D Roll: You select 3 fixed digits and one rolling digit represented by the letter R (e.g., 12R4, R478), which represents any number from 0 to 9.
Quick Pick: The system picks a 4D combination for you.
4D results are announced online via the Singapore Pools website.
How to Play Toto?
Toto is not that different from 4D. But instead of picking four digits, you must pick six numbers in this lottery variation. The minimum bet is also $1.
Here are some ways players can bet in Toto:
Ordinary Entry: Pick six numbers between 1 and 49. If your number combination matches the winning combination, you win the jackpot (around $20,000 payout).
System Entry: You can select up to 12 numbers to bet, so you have more entries in the game. Bet amount ranges from $7 to $924, depending on the number of digits selected.
System Roll: Pick five numbers and one rolling number that represents all the remaining 44 numbers in the set.
Quick Pick: The system picks the six-number combination for you.
Toto draws are held every Monday and Thursday at 6:30 PM. Results are announced via the Singapore Pools website.
Tips when playing 4D Toto
4D and Toto draw are purely random, so every number has an equal chance of being picked. Select any number combinations you want for the game.
Statistically speaking, you have a higher chance of winning in 4D than Toto. However, Toto has a significantly higher payout than 4D. If you are a risk-taker, Toto might suit you well. But if you’re risk-averse, 4D is slightly better.
