Looking at the current EPL standings, you might be shocked to see who’s currently on top at the time of writing. Arsenal is currently on top, with Man City being a very close second. Arsenal is only one point ahead, and the goal difference is in City’s favour. Through these odds alone, it’s safe to say that Arsenal has a decent chance of winning the title and below are several other reasons why this is likely the case:

Arsenal has proven that it’s improved and has a decent chance of finishing in the Top 4, even if Manchester City and Liverpool regain the first and second place, respectively. A supercomputer even predicted a Premier League table featuring the Gunners as the winner.
Tottenham Hotspur F.C.
The current odds by United Gaming show that Tottenham is tied with Chelsea F.C. having 4.22 odds of winning. As of October 6, 2022, Tottenham is in third place and would have tied with Man City for points, without counting goal difference, if they won their last match.
Singapore Pools’ odds on Championship Winner aren’t in Tottenham’s favour, and it doesn’t seem they’ll win the EPL based on it. However, they might still win without Manchester City and Liverpool if Arsenal ends up losing their next matches.
During the last season, we wrote an article on how other teams can potentially stop Man City from winning the title, and we said that Tottenham needed reinforcements in both midfield and defence. Now, Antonio Conte managed to reinforce his squad with established Premier League stars and other big names, including the following:

- Clement Lenglet (on loan from Barcelona)
Djed Spence was supposed to be signed with Arsenal, and Tottenham’s recent defeat may have proven why Arsenal was right to snub Spence. Still, Spence has only played one minute and isn’t being used because Conte indirectly said he wasn’t ready.
Chelsea F.C.
The current odds by United Gaming and Singapore Odds show that Tottenham and Chelsea are currently tied, but the standings are different. Chelsea is currently in fifth place with only thirteen points and a zero goal difference.
Last season, we said that Chelsea had a chance to win the Premier League and even wrote further about how they can keep Man City from winning the title. We wrote that Tuchel had to strengthen the centre-back, central midfield, and attack, and they had to tweak the teams to do so.
This season, Chelsea saw plenty of changes from their manager, Thomas Tuchel, being replaced by Graham Potter and potential game-changers coming into the team. The six potential game-changers are the following:

- Kalidou Koulibaly
- Marc Cucurella
- Wesley Fofana
- Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

The current season of the English Premier League has been going on for two months now, and a lot of stuff can still happen. The fact that Arsenal is in the first place is a shocker, but Man City might be able to dethrone them fairly easily, considering their track record. However, we’re talking about the outright market focusing on winning without Liverpool and Manchester City, so Arsenal will likely win without the two teams.
The current EPL season will end on May 28, and a lot of stuff can still happen, so Tottenham, Chelsea, or other teams still have a chance of winning without Liverpool and Man City. Both teams saw different changes that could potentially improve their performances in the current season.
